Jindrich Styrsky

1899, Dolni Cermna/Czechia, dieth 1942 in Prag.

1920 -1923 studies at the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague. 

1922 collaboration with Toyen. 1923 Strynsky associated with 

"Devetsil". In 1925 he went with Toyen and Josef Sima to Paris. 

1928 Both went back to Prague. 

1933 Strynsky joined the artist group "Manes".

 

1934 he founded with Toyen, Jindrich Heisler, Karel Teige and Vitezslav Nezval the surrealist group, Prague.
